How a Return Timer Works

A Return Timer converts temporary absence into a visible, measurable return commitment.

Service active

When staff are present, the display indicates a clear service state such as OPEN or NOW SERVING.

Temporary absence

When staff step away, the display changes state to AWAY and shows a declared return time.

Countdown

A live countdown shows time remaining until the declared return time.

Update on change

If return time changes, the declared time and countdown are updated. This maintains accuracy and trust.
